little dead girl poem

“she fell in, she fell in!”

our eyes were wide,

“repeat again?”

“she fell in, the ice was thin, and she fell in!”

there was blood on the snow

le fwah , <(spelled wrong on purpose)

we stood in awe.

“a shame!”

who would kill the young dame?

“oh my!”

“i didn’t want the young thing to die, in fact i’d barely hurt a fly.

it was imperative

for me to live,

to preserve her in the glass, the icy glass

but she lost her life too fast!”

“an accident?”

“an accident!”

then it’s okay,

no time for sorrow or dismay

for a moment we’ll bow our heads and pray

then duties done,

resume the fun.
